Tom Inglis

Welcome - Auf Deutsch
There is a growing thirst in the church for God's presence, and nothing will satisfy this generation until we worship in 'spirit and truth' according to John chapter four. Jesus will return for a worshipping church that is passionate about him, and this will be one of the greatest signs along with world wide evangelism. It is more than the weekly act of worship at Sunday Services that the Father seeks, but for worshippers whose daily lifestyle is full of continual thanksgiving, praise and worship. The 'School of Worship' courses that have been developed will help you develop a lifestyle of worship Our Sunday Services will never move into the dimension of corporate worship that God desires, until we worship Him individually as part of our lifestyle. The Scripture tells us ‘we must worship him in spirit and truth’. There is no choice but to let worship come from our spirit, expressing the truth of God’s Word. The church must understand more fully the dynamics of worship and have the freedom to express it in spirit.

How it all began - top

Tom Inglis has a word for this generation that is fresh and straight from the heart of God. His message emphasizes that worship must be understood and practiced in our personal lives, homes and local churches as a lifestyle that will effect our witness to the world.

For seven years Tom served as an Assistant Pastor and Music Director in the Rhema Church in South Africa. During those years he experienced the phenomenal growth of the church which at that time was one of the largest growing churches in the world. Tom attributes the growth to a combination of evangelism and worship. "Evangelism and worship are inseparable partners and the end time worshipping church will be a witnessing church."

At the end of those seven years his Pastor released Him with blessings to fulfill a strong vision that God has placed on Tom's life to teach the nations a lifestyle of worship. The ministry of Psalmody International started in 1983 when God clearly spoke to him that worship must be the lifestyle of every believer.

"This concept of worship as a lifestyle initially shocked me at that particular time since we were experiencing wonderful times of worship in the church with 300-400 salvation's every month. It seemed like we could do no wrong, but God showed me that Sunday worship was not all that He wanted, but rather a lifestyle of worship from every believer. After searching the Scriptures, I could see it clearly. The Lord then told me to develop a syllabus incorporating biblical lifestyle principles that were associated with worship. I was astounded to discover that the style of life we are to live as Christians, stems from a worship lifestyle...the ministry of Psalmody International was then started in the local church and the church is still teaching this course today, 18 years later."
