I feel like the Lord wants to break off a sense of condemnation, failure, insignificance, you know those things that we just pick up from week to week. We come back to church having been touched and influenced by a negative society don’t we? As the Lord brings His canopy on us, the joy and the release and the freedom that He wants us to experience is out of this world. It’s not just a taste of freedom, it’s the full freedom so that you can be all God’s called you to be. So we are going to ask for the joy of the Lord to come down and we can dance on some of the death stuff. How many are getting free over these weeks. We are going into the new year at the end of this month and we’re going in free aren’t we? We’re going to cross a line and we’re going to go in free. We’re not going to go in with yesterday on us or last week on us or twelve months ago on us. We’re going to go in free. So the days are getting less and less, it’s the 14th today. We have got two weeks to say “Whatever is holding me, whatever is against the will of God in my life, I want it out. So its time I started dancing over all these graves, ‘cause some of us have things that were dead years ago, even young people have things that were dead years ago. We need to dance on those graves and say I’m going into the new year with full freedom and that canopy is a reality.

When I was a child we used to have a day called ‘Stir up Sunday’ and it was for stirring the Christmas pudding but I believe the Lord is saying this is a stirring up day. What I believe the Lord says is “Will you allow my Holy Spirit to stir up that which has remained still inside of you. He’s showing me a picture of walking out into the sea at the beach and the first level of water is warm as the sun comes and warms that water and then as you go deeper and deeper and the Lord takes us deeper and deeper, we feel a sudden coldness and we step back. The Lord says, Will you allow me to stir the waters inside you and what might come to the surface might be things you might not to see but it’s my Holy Spirit that’s stirring the waters, just as I stirred the waters at the pool of Bethesda and there was healing as they went into the stirred up waters. Will you allow me to stir up that which is within you and not be afraid of what might come to the surface? This is the day for it to be dealt with. This is the day when I’m applying a mix inside of you when all that I’ve put inside of you is to be stirred up for my purposes. So the Lord says, This is a day of destiny, this is a day of unlocking that which is inside you which hasn’t come to the surface. Will you trust me to bring it to the surface? Will you allow me to pour in my love in such a way that the warmth of my love that will go deep, deep, deep, deep, deep, deep into your innermost being? I’ve a purpose for you, I’ve a calling for you and my plans and my purposes are to bring you a hope and a future. Will you allow me to stir you up this day for my Kingdom?

Do you remember when I spoke to you about habits? Habits and mindsets can be things that are deep seated in us that are just perpetual things. They keep coming up time and time again. Anybody ever struggle with the same thing and you just go round in a circle and you think, Will I ever be free? God says, I’m breaking up the fallow ground, if we’ll partner with him. So even as you hear the music and you hear what is being sung, partner with it, go with it. By faith the Lord will release His anointing power to break up your area of hard ground. So submit it to Him and let Him break it up. Say “Yes Lord, break up my fallow ground. Break up my fallow ground today Lord. Break up my fallow ground. Lord I keep hitting the same wall over and over again. Break it up Lord. Come stir us Lord. Break it up, break it up, break it up.

What we’ve asked God to do, or start this morning is a pretty dangerous step to take. We’ve asked Him to break up that hard ground in our lives and let’s not assume it’s all been done now. This is going to be a process that God’s going to continue over the next couple of weeks. We’ve said we will invite Him in. Over these next two weeks, we’re beginning to build up to the New Year so can I just say that we can expect this to continue over the next two weeks and we are going to keep asking God to stir it up and as Jean said, that’s a great picture, as God starts to stir us up there are going to be things that come to the surface that we are not going to like. Now A, Can we expect that to happen because we want God to do that, don’t we? B, The problem is what are we going to do with it and I think there are two things you can do with it. Firstly, ‘cause Satan’s going to keep them before us, Satan’s going to say these are all the reasons why you are not good enough, why you are not worthy. God’s given us a new weapon to take home today as a first step and if you look down by your right foot you will see it’s a board rubber. God says, as Satan writes these things on the board before your eyes this week I’ve given you the authority to take that rubber and wipe them off. If in your own mind you can see that slate being wiped clean, rest assured that I am doing it. It starts with us and that’s the prophetic weapon He’s given us this week to take home and use. The second thing is, don’t be scared to ring up and ask for help. We’ve got a ministry team who are going to be available if you have an issue and you say I can’t shift it, give someone a call. These are a critical two weeks, so let’s invite God to continue that stirring but as He does so, let’s expect things to happen, let’s expect to see those things before us that we don’t like but let’s not be condemned by it let’s be convicted by it and know that God’s brought it up for a reason and that reason is quite simply He wants us to be shut of it by the new year.
