Assignments
| During the last five years, teams of intercessors from the School of Prayer and Watchman Intercessor Network have travelled to different parts of England, Europe and the USA to undertake prayer assignments. A designated “strike team” have researched and undertaken strategic prayer assignments in Rome, Athens, Naples, Turkey, Santiago de Compostela, Berlin and Brussels. The purpose of these assignments has varied. |

The assignment to Athens and Olympia in 2004 was to deal with the ungodly foundations and demonic power that was to be released across the nations during the Olympic games and to deal with the spirit of Greece. The team experienced tremendous supernatural occurrences during this assignment and signs in the earth that enemy power had been broken. The assignments in Rome have been to deal with the false foundations of the Church, the Queen of heaven and the empire spirit. In Naples prayer took place in partnership with some apostolic leaders in that city to deal with witchcraft, false miracles and the spirit of religion. Each time the teams would research and pray before walking the land and praying for the nation to be touched by the Holy Spirit.

The local assignments have included the 39 historic county tour of England with Dr Sharon Stone (CIE) in 2005 (read more link to CIE Distinct Sound County tour website) where in each county teams of intercessors would pray at the place of government, the mosque, the freemasonry temple and a war memorial. These were the specified targets that the team had been given so that a dismantling would take place in the spirit realm of ungodly powers and authorities ruling in our towns and cities. Teams have also travelled to Cornwall, Dover, Greenwich, Hadrian’s wall, Driffield, Bolton and most recently Portsmouth. |
The last key international assignment was in Washington DC in July 2006 where two of the team from Burton travelled to be part of a global team who were commissioned to deal with the false altars and the demonic influence of freemasonry, Islam, war memorials and ungodly governmental institutions
| We believe that God has a local, national and international mandate on intercessors that participate in the School of Prayer and we are endeavouring to ensure they are suitably equipped and ready to be special prayer envoys to wield the sword of the Lord and prepare the land for an end times’ revival and Christ’s return. |
