School of Worship

CIM carries a mantle for warfare praise and worship.  Many are drawn to the ministry because of the incredible Spirit led praise and worship that characterizes all of our gatherings.  This is largely due to the fact that Steve and Jenny have been UK directors of Psalmody International (read more link to Psalmody website) for many years and so the strong teaching basis of praise and worship as a lifestyle is a key foundation stone for CIM.  We are privileged in CIFC to enjoy weekly the “new song” and the overflow of spiritual songs.

We believe that the three key purposes of praise and worship are to fulfil God’s heart, build up the Body and to deal with the enemy.  Worship has the ability to change our perspective because it changes us and we believe that is crucial to sing praises with understanding (Psalm 47:7) and to cultivate a lifestyle of praise and worship.

The season of the apostolic and prophetic has heralded a shift in our praise and worship and so the Body of Christ has moved into a realm where members sing “present truth” revelation.  Apostolic praise creates an atmosphere where God’s judgments can be released; the prophetic word releases God’s will and intention; the apostolic makes the decree and establishes God’s purpose.

CIM convenes a school of worship and hosts worship events periodically.  The Psalmody curriculum provides the basis for the school but we are also developing our own material as the Holy Spirit releases fresh revelation to be imparted the Body of Christ.
